Early Career and Military Training

Bryan’s technical journey began in a military context, with extensive training in electronics, mechanics, and hazardous materials. Instruction of National Guard units on setting up power for deployment to Afghanistan honed his skills in public speaking and training under high-pressure conditions. During university, managing greenhouses for a Walmart supplier enriched practical knowledge of industrial technology and automated systems.

Over a 15-Year Startup Journey

Transitioning from field sales to managing phone sales teams, international logistics, and overseeing technology transitions, key roles included developing intranet systems, managing warehouse operations, and guiding the shift from analog to IP-based systems. This continuous experience allowed for adaptation and leadership through various challenges.

Economic Downturn and Continued Growth

After the economic downturn led to the temporary closure of a security company, Bryan returned to university while contributing to a new healthcare startup. This included leading efforts in search engine marketing, web design, content creation, and public relations. Achievements included deploying hundreds of websites and securing media coverage across 16 US states.

Growing Comfortable with Big Stages

Bryan’s comfort with big stages and interviews, including with The Washington Post, CBS, and PCMag, was achieved through tackling significant infrastructure and technical debt issues, and collaborating with technology partners like Intel, Dell, Google, and AWS.
